About the port

The Integral Port Administration of Tuxpan is a sea-river port with a model of organization where the private terminals compete with each other, offering high levels of productivity, low operating costs, safety in the handling of goods in foreign trade and highly qualified personnel.

Location

Tuxpan is located on the central coast of the Gulf of Mexico, north of the state of Veracruz, adjacent to the states of Tamaulipas, San Luis Potosi and Puebla.

Tuxpan has a 500 km area of influence (hinterland), which covers the State of Mexico, Mexico City, Hidalgo, Morelos, Veracruz, Queretaro, Puebla and Tamaulipas. Its area of influence also extends to Nuevo Leon, Guanajuato, San Luis Potosi, Guerrero, Sonora, Tabasco and Yucatan.
